Writing Through Grief®

Coping with grief is often a painful, shattering and isolating experience.  Whether you are grieving a recent death, or an earlier loss, writing can provide a means of expressing, understanding and sharing this experience; a way to contain the seemingly uncontainable.  These writing workshops and groups offer a supportive way to process your grief with others.  It can also be especially helpful in working through an earlier loss or death that still impacts your present day life.  In a small group we use reading, writing exercises and discussion to explore the feelings that arise and the poetry to be made of them.  Pre-group phone interview, all levels of writers welcome.  There are three formats:

One-Day Writing Through Grief® Workshops

12-session Writing Through Grief® Groups

Ongoing Writing Through Grief®  Groups
